📌 Overview

Starfield Omnimovement removes Bethesda’s movement restrictions and enables true 360° freedom of movement. No more sluggish strafing, halved backward speed, or sprint lockouts. With this mod, walking, running, sprinting — and even sliding — feel fluid and modern, like a real third-person action game.

This tweak rewrites Starfield’s movement math so that your character is no longer limited by angle thresholds. The result is smoother strafes, responsive turning, omni-directional sprinting, and the ability to slide or sprint in any direction without awkward slowdowns.

🛠 Installation

Navigate to:

Documents\My Games\Starfield\


Place the included file:

StarfieldCustom.ini


into this directory.

If you already have a StarfieldCustom.ini, simply copy the [Controls], [Movement], [MovementSprint], [Camera], [Gameplay], [Jump], and [ThirdPerson] sections into your existing file.

Save, then launch Starfield.

⚙️ Customization

fActorRunSpeedMult=1.2 – Adjust this if you want faster/slower base running.

fJumpHeightMin=76.0 – Increase/decrease jump height.

fGravity=0.995 – Lower = floatier jumps, higher = heavier feel.

Headbob toggle: set f1stPitchOffsetMultOnAccel and f1stPitchOffsetMultOnMaxSpeed to 0.0 to disable.

🔄 Compatibility

Works with all INI-based mods.

Safe to use on existing saves.

Does not require SFSE, plugins, or loose files.

May conflict if another mod edits the same [Movement] values.
